Since Jesus is really God, how can Jesus be accused of blasphemy?

In John 10: 33-36 (34: "...I said Ye are gods" - 35: "If he called them gods...") And they were NOT gods, but MEN. Jesus asks why they did not accuse those MEN of blasphemy who were called gods. INSTEAD the Jews accuse Jesus of blasphemy even though Jesus cannot and will not deny that He IS the Son of God. Jesus is simply indicating that He is indeed God as the second Person of the Trinity. No blasphemy.
